A vein-only version of the advanced model for training when fluids simulating blood are not required. The model has three different sized surface veins and one deeply placed vein, similar to the advanced device, but with a more portable design. Advanced Venipuncture Training Aid™
Allows educators and trainers to teach sound phlebotomy techniques on lifelike models that include four visible and/or palpable veins of varying size and depth. Three veins, each of differing diameters, are embedded in a latex free semi-transparent, tissue-like material. The forth vein is deeply placed to simulate the variations in patient anatomy phlebotomists regularly encounter. A physical "pop" is felt as the needle enters the vein, followed by a realistic "flashback" of simulated blood confirming the proper needle placement. The back of the Training Aid doubles as a cover to protect the tissue block when not in use. An optional carrying case, with storage pouch for supplies, is available.
