Shanise Keith is the Director and owner of the Center for Phlebotomy Education, whose training materials are used by hospitals, laboratories, and phlebotomy programs across the country to teach the standard of care.

She has spent many years as a phlebotomist in various roles, and has taught phlebotomy at the college level for more than fifteen years. She is also a contributor to the 8th edition of Phlebotomy Essentials, one of the most widely used phlebotomy textbooks in the United States.

Since 2021, she has served as an expert witness in phlebotomy-related litigation, including cases involving venipuncture nerve injury, arterial injury, syncope and falls, and standard of care disputes. Her opinions are grounded in CLSI standards and peer-reviewed literature — the same sources she teaches from. She has been deposed multiple times and has provided expert reports in state and federal matters.

She is available to both plaintiff and defense counsel for case review, expert reports, deposition, and trial testimony. Her CV and fee schedule are available on request.
